Rachelle Fisher Receives Best Singer Award at Premios Mejor Evento

On Thursday 19th March, I received my first award for music. The award was for 'Best Singer at Events'

When I watched the video created by the team to celebrate the moment (which btw I had no idea was coming), I was honestly overwhelmed with emotion. It made me pause and reflect on just how much of a journey this has been, from the moment in my teens and promising myself that somehow I would make music my career to lots performances over the years across 30 countries, and at the same time, how much is still ahead.

This recognition means more to me than I can fully put into words. I’m deeply grateful to Presidenta Maria Cansino and the entire team at Premios Mejor Evento for this honour and for believing in what I do.

To my family, who were watching from afar, and to my friends who came to support me in person, thank you. Your presence, your encouragement, and your belief in me mean everything. And to those who couldn’t be there but were with me in spirit, I felt your support.

A special thank you to Anna Carol Romero for styling me so beautifully for the evening.

And above all, I give thanks to God for the gift of music, and for the courage to continue pursuing this path, even when it hasn’t always been easy.

This moment is incredibly special to me… and I know it’s only the beginning.
